Luck of the Irish: "I did theater for a few years in Dublin, then I started doing films. The life of an actor is right up my alley. You travel all the time. You're here, then you're over there. And sometimes you get paid."
Least favorite thing about america: "Not being able to smoke wherever you want to. They've got to change that. There are more important things to worry about, like car fumes. It just detracts from the real issues."
Favorite thing about america: "Breakfasts. I love them. I'll take eggs any way, french toast, cinnamon buns, the whole lot. I love Sunday brunch."
On girl-friend Parker Posey: "I met her in London, but I didn't know who she was. I knew she was an actress, but then I came over here and she's a big deal. It's kinda strange, but in London she doesn't get recognized."
On becoming famous: "I don't think it will ever happen to me. I won't do those kinds of films, you know. Sphere! C'mon."
