Pierre (Daniel Auteuil) is beaten up and thrown out of a London strip club. Tom (Stuart Townsend) shows empathy for the Frenchman's predicament and takes Pierre back to his flat, were the two become unlikely friends.

Pierre discovers Tom is a gigolo by night and is soon introduced to scores of lonely women most willing to pay for his company as we discover whilst we journey with him in this world.
