Starring Charlize Theron, the action packed Aeon Flux adventure, Sci-Fi, thriller sees Stuart Townsend make an uncredited appearance as one of the Monicans.

Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron) is the elusive assassin who works on behalf of a rebel group in the futuristic country of Monica. Her mission is to assassinate the Chairman in order to topple the government.

The Aeon Flux movie was based on a 1991 animation series which spanned three seasons totalling 27 episodes. The series was first issued on three VHS tapes between 1996 and 1998 (a)Aeon Flux, (b)Mission Infinite and (c)Operative Terminus.

In 2005, to coincide with the movie release, a "director's edition" of the animation series was also released in a DVD boxed set. The set features altered versions of several episodes. Interestingly, some new scenes were written by Peter Chung (the original South Korean American creator) and recorded using original voice actors for continuity between episodes. Also of note is that the DVD opens with a newly created short with Aeon Flux taking on the likeness of Charlize Theron. This short was to also promote the Aeon Flux video game which was released in November 2005 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox.

Aeon Flux as a video game actually had it's beginnings in an earlier video game released as Pax Corpus.

Aeon Flux had success in the print media as a comic book too.

Though Stuart Townsend is uncredited, we have another great movie we can see both him and his beautiful girl friend Charlize Theron work together in.
