Dan Brown - Da Vinci Code

Man and his symbols

Carl Jung

Straight forward to read and rich in suggestion.

Carl Gustav Jung wrote the first of the four sections in this work. It was a dream which also afforded him the insight to create this easily digested work in contrast to his usual long-winded academic writings that were not designed for the general public.

On the subject of dreams, their interpretation, meaning, and symbolism, Carl Jung has long been considered amongst the foremost of authorities.

The work attempts to allow the reader to gain easy access to the basic concepts of Jungian psychology. If one is interested in Jungian dream analysis, this book most certainly is an excellent entrance point. If you like photos and artwork, seek out the hardcover edition.

In modern day psychology, Carl Jung has had an extraordinary amount of influence. Some of the terms he has introduced in Jungian are "extrovert", "introvert", and "archetype".
